More Information
Recordings Available to Class Members: Each Better Beer Scores class is recorded, so all class participants can take their time and review all information presented.
Guaranteed: Needless to say, the Better Beer Scores course is challeging and will take some dedication on the part of participants, but we believe that the payoff will be worth the effort. Plus, if students don't pass the exam with a 60% or better, they can retake the course at no charge, providing that they participated actively throughout the 12 weeks of their previous course.
Cost: $249 for the 12 week course - that's just about $20 per session. Tasting costs vary by week. AHA Members receive a 20% discount!
Delivery: 12 two-and-one-half hour weekly synchronous online sessions via GoToTraining. Supplemental and study materials will be provided each week. Yes, there will be homework - but it's beer related homework. How bad can that be?
Curriculum: Better Beer Scores 12-week curriculum addresses all major topics that may be covered in the BJCP Exam, whether it's the current format or the newly announced format, including:
- Malts and Malting
- Hops
- Water
- Yeast
- Beer Styles
- Sensory Evaluation

Please Note: Since a 12-week webinar series involves a substantial allocation of resources, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone any class that does not reach minimum enrollment. We go to great lengths to avoid this and will work with you to reschedule you or make other arrangements.
