Better Beer Scores Pre-Course Checklist
Thank you for participating in the Better Beer Scores program!
Please make sure you have done the following before logging into your first Better Beer Scores class session.
1. Download Materials
Better Beer Scores materials are primarily in PDF format. As such, you will need to download and install the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

2. Check Equipment
To attend any Better Beer Scores class session, you will need the following:A computer (running Mac OS X or Windows only) connected to the internet via a broadband connection.
- The latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (PC), Mozilla Firefox (Mac or PC), Safari (Mac) or Google Chrome (Mac or PC).
- A USB headset microphone (preferred) or a microphone and headphones or speakers. Note that most webcams have built in microphones as well.
3. Assess Equipment Compatibility
Be sure to test your equipment before logging into the first class session.

- Windows Media Codec: Windows or Mac (via Quicktime). This codec allows you to watch recorded meetings using Windows Media Player 9.
4. Log In
- Prior to your first class session, you will receive an email with a link to the session's web address.
- Between 15 and 30 minutes before the first session, click the link to join the training session.
- Most likely, you will be prompted to download the GoToMeeting software (this generally only for the first time).
- Finally, you will be connected to the training session.
